I hate poetry in local newspapers. It's usually bad... and that's the better stuff. Most of it's written in something called a "workshop".
Now if these workshops were where light industrial engineering was taking place it might not be so bad.
But it's not and it is. And if it's not bad, it's usually just mad.
That aside here's a modern take on Humbert Wolfe's classic epigram.
You can but hope
to gag and arrest,
Oh yes! The
tabloid journalist,
For seeing what
those scumbags did do

to us all.
